Hello, my name is Sarah. I am a licensed professional counselor and certified domestic violence professional with a master’s degree in clinical counseling psychology. My specialties include survivors of domestic abuse, anger management, crisis counseling, individuals with autism spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, suicide ideation, and LGBTQ+ stressors. I have worked with adolescents and adults in both individual and family therapy. I recognize that no two people have the same story, even if their life circumstances are similar. I adapt my counseling approach based on each individual client and utilize trauma-informed, strengths-based, client-centered, and cognitive behavioral therapy with clients as well as incorporating psychoeducation and relaxation exercises into sessions. I strive to welcome clients to share their stories without judgment in a safe space and work collaboratively with clients to establish treatment goals to help aid them in therapeutic growth.
